Cope to return to the #57: Derrike Cope will be driving the #57 CLR Ford Taurus in 12-15 Cup races in 2002 beginning with the Daytona 500 in February. The team will continue to use Robert Yates engines and are working to procure additional sponsorship and expand their schedule. Cope says about sponsorship, “I have had several recent meetings with companies that are considering us for sponsorship and have been pleased with their positive responses to date.
