Sad News: Helen Martin Mast, mother of Winston Cup driver Rick Mast [#90], died December 31, 2001 after a short illness. Funeral services were scheduled for 11:00am Friday, January 4 at Ebeneezer Methodist Church in Rockbridge Baths, Virginia. Mrs. Mast, 74, is survived by her husband, R.K. Mast, two children (daughter Helena Mast Krohn and son Rick) and four grandchildren.
