Andretti wins charity race: John Andretti won a 15-lap race for charity at New Smyrna Speedway that featured fellow Winston Cup drivers Kyle Petty, Hut Stricklin and Casey Atwood. The “Race For Kids Sake” was ran to help support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Volusia County. Atwood won last year’s event.(Daytona Beach News Journal)(1-16-2002)
