The NASCAR Busch Series teams that finished in the odd-numbered spots in the owners points standings will test at Daytona on Jan. 21-22 in preparation for the Feb. 16 EAS/GNC Live Well 300 with Jan. 23 serving as a rain date. On Jan. 24-25, the even-numbered Busch Series teams will test with Jan. 26 serving as a rain date. Oldfield Grandstand access is free and open to the public during testing with access through the lobby of DAYTONA USA. Monday Results – Compton fastest: #59-Stacy Compton was the fastest with a speed of 183.430mph. 2nd fastest was #74-Chad Little in a Pontiac at 183.135. Rounding out the top five were #3-Dale Earnhardt Jr. at 182.838, #12-Kerry Earnhardt at 182.597 and #5-Ricky Hendrick (in the Chevy) 182.382. Tuesday AM Results: #74-Chad Liitle was the fastest in the AM session on Tuesday with a speed of 183.135mph. #19-Tim Sauter was 2nd fastest at 182.737 with #5-Ricky Hendrick third at 182.264 in a Chevy and #24-Jack Sprague 4th and 5th – 182.120 in a Pontiac and 182.076 in a Chevy.
