Talladega Testing: Jason Jarrett will be behind the wheel of the Robert Yates Racing #88 UPS Ford today at Talladega Superspeedway, helping the NASCAR team usually piloted by his father Dale Jarrett. Jason Jarrett drove south to Talladega from his home in North Carolina on Thursday to watch his father test the #88 Ford. On Saturday, Jason is set to take the wheel. After the practice session, Jason Jarrett will then make his way to Daytona where he is entered in the season-opening ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Daytona on Feb. 10. Friday’ test session was the second practice at Talladega Superspeedway this week for Robert Yates Racing. The #28 team was at Talladega earlier in the week. Joining the #88 team for the two-day test session was the #41 Dodge belonging to Chip Ganassi and driven by Steadman Marlin (Sterling’s son), along with the Haas/Carter Motorsports two-car Ford team – the #26 with Joe Nemechek and the #66 with Todd Bodine.(Talladega Superspeedway PR), #77-Dave Blaney and the Jasper Engines team is also at Talladega testing today(2-2-2002)
