Burton’s regular jackman, Brian Perry, injured an ankle last week at Daytona International Speedway when Kyle Petty’s car ran into the jackman on pit road during the Daytona 500.(Daytona Beach News Journal)(2-24-2002) UPDATE 2: Brian Perry, the jackman for Jeff Burton, will go to a doctor later this week to see if he can jack the car this weekend at Las Vegas. Perry was hit in the ankle by the car of Kyle Petty during the Daytona 500.
