#36-Hank Parker Jr. will add his own small footnote to the annals of “The Track Too Tough To Tame” in Saturday’s DarlingtonRaceway.com 200 BGN race. The fourth event of the 2002 season will also mark the 100th time Parker will compete in an BGN race. While celebrating his centennial run, the 27-year old driver from Denver, N.C., will also likely surpass the $2 million mark in career BGN winnings. Going into Saturday’s event, Parker is just $7,162 shy of becoming the 20th driver in BGN history to achieve that mark of distinction.(GNC Racing PR)(3-15-2002)
