Shelmerdine Start Pushed Back Kirk Shelmerdine’s plans to try to qualify the #27 Ford for the Coca-Cola Family 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway are being scrapped. “Testing showed us that our level of performance and our state of preparedness were not where we thought they should be,” Shelmerdine says on the Brett Bodine Racing Web site.
