Wallace to stand by for Gordon if needed: Richard Childress Racing will have Mike Wallace standing by for the team’s #31 Cingular Chevy team Sunday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in case Robby Gordon doesn’t return from the Indianapolis 500 in time for the start of the Coca-Cola Racing Family 600. The Indy 500 is scheduled to start at 12:00noon/et on Sunday, while the 600 is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm/et, about three hours after the end of the Indy race.
