Two BACE cars at Dover: BACE Motorsports has posted two entries for the race next weekend at Dover International Speedway. Tony Raines will pull double-duty on the high-banked cement, as he and teammate Chad Little attempt to put a pair of BACE entries in the MBNA Platinum 400. This is exciting and Im really looking forward to the opportunity to run a Winston Cup event at a place where weve had a fair degree of success in the Busch Series, Raines said. Bill and Brian (Baumgardner) have really pulled out the stops in their effort to make a transition to the Winston Cup Series. Running the second car in Dover gives Chad and I the opportunity to compare notes and flatten the learning curve as our program moves forward. Also of note for the team: Bayer Consumer Care has informed team owner Brian Baumgardner that the company will not be returning to BACE Motorsports as primary sponsor of Tony Raines BGN program in 2003.(Tony Raines site)(5-25-2002)
