Bayer Consumer Care is pleased to announce that it will partner with Reiser Enterprises and driver Matt Kenseth to compete in 15 selected BGN races throughout the 2003 racing season. The Bayer Consumer Care products of Bayer Aspirin, Alka-Seltzer, Alka-Seltzer Plus and Aleve will alternate as primary sponsors on the #17 Ford owned by Wisconsin natives, John and Robbie Reiser. The 2003 season will mark the 11th season that Bayer Consumer Care has served as a primary sponsor in the NASCAR Busch Series.. Over the past 10 years, Bayer Consumer Care has teamed with such racing notables as Chad Little, Terry Labonte, Buckshot Jones and most recently Tony Raines. Bayer’s association with NASCAR has helped to produce 10 wins, including six in 1996 with Chad Little. Kenseth will carry the Bayer Consumer Care colors for the first time in 2003 during the season opening BGB event at the Daytona International Speedway. Prior to last week’s event at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway, Bayer informed BACE Motorsports that Bayer Consumer Care would not be returning to their team as a primary sponsor for the 2003 racing season.
