Rusty to the Dogs: Rusty Wallace will be in New York on Wednesday “going to the dogs” serving as Grand Marshal for the Beggin’ Strips® A-Mazin’ Bacon Race,which will offer select national dog charities a chance at $1 Million. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 5th at 11:30 am, at the South Street Seaport-Pier 17 (89 South St.) in New York City. The Beggin’ Strips A-Mazin’ Bacon Race will showcase three professionally trained dogs that will compete against each other and the clock, on the racecourse, an interactive agility course. Each dog will race on behalf of pre-selected national dog charity. The dog that wins the race will earn his assigned charity representative the chance to choose from 100 bags of Beggin’ Strips. If the charity representative chooses the correct bag, his or her charity will receive a $1 million donation. If the charity representative does not pick the ‘million dollar bag’, Beggin’ Strips® brand dog snacks will make a $5,000 cash donation to the charity in the winning dog’s name.
