Roush/DeWalt still negotiating: Roush Racing president Geoff Smith said talks continue with DeWalt, whose contract expires after this season as Matt Kenseth ‘s sponsor [#17 Ford]. The deadline for the two sides to negotiate exclusively with each other ended May 31. “It’s taken a long time for a renewal,” Smith said. “They were talking to other teams as well but they claim they want to be with us.
