Kyle not Happy: Kyle Petty tied a season best with a 12th-place finish [actually his best was a 10th at Talladega] but wasn’t particularly happy. While making his final pit stop with three laps remaining, Petty’s car was blocked by Joe Nemechek, whose #25 Chevrolet was two laps down. “That 25 has a Busch driver and a Busch crew chief,” Petty said. “They blocked us in the pits, and that really messed us up.”(Richmond Times Dispatch)(6-17-2002)
