Nadeau may run some more races at PE: Petty Enterprises CEO Kyle Petty said Thursday he would like to see driver Jerry Nadeau run more races for his organization. Nadeau substituted for Steve Grissom at the Sonoma road course race two weeks ago and was leading with two laps to go before his car broke. Nadeau left Hendrick Motorsports earlier this season and has been running for various teams on a short-term basis. “Jerry Nadeau can be and has been a winning Winston Cup driver,” Petty said. “He’s got to put himself in a position to run ovals and other stuff because that’s what this series is.
