Sammy Potashnick is gearing up to be the driver of Jay Robinson’s BGN #49 car next weekend in the Charter Pipeline 250 at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill. Potashnick, who will make his BGN debut, has been racing since 1996 in ARCA, the USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup, CTS, Winston West, and the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division. Potashnick’s most recent career highlights include winning the Winston West Bank One 250 in Salt Lake City, UT, winning a NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division race at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, CA, and finishing 2nd at the Winston West race held this February at Phoenix.
