#29-Terry Cook inherited the lead as a result of one wreck and held on to his third NASCAR Truck series win of the season despite another. Cook took over the lead on Lap 170 when then-leader #2-Jason Leffler wrecked in Turn 3. Cook held off #46-Dennis Setzer by .189 seconds to win Saturday’s New England 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway. Third was #75-David Starr, followed by #1-Ted Musgrave and #62-Brendan Gaughan. The scheduled 200-lap race went to 208 because driver Brian Rose wrecked on Lap 197. Truck series rules require a green-flag finish. Setzer climbed up to Cook’s rear bumper between Turns 3 and 4 on the last lap, but couldn’t complete the pass.
