Tim Sauter announced his #19 AP Performance Racing Chevrolet will carry the colors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the “Sam’s Town 250 Benefiting St. Jude” race at Memphis Motorsports Park, Saturday, October 19. Sauter’s red, white, and blue Chevy will carry the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital logo on the hood and a St. Jude patient’s artwork will be displayed on the car’s rear decklid. St. Jude’s website address [www.stjude.org] will be displayed on the car providing race fans with an internet site where they can learn more about how to support St. Jude’s mission to find cures for children with catastrophic illnesses through research and treatment. Helping children in need is a familiar cause for Sauter. In the early stages of their 20-year marriage, Sauter and his wife, Chris, have donated time and resources to care for foster children in their native state of Wisconsin. In much the same spirit, St. Jude Children’s Research center has provided cutting edge treatment more than 19,000 children covering all costs of care beyond those reimbursable by third party payments and total costs when no insurance is available.
