Exide Technologies announced an associate sponsor partnership with Reiser Enterprises and Matt Kenseth for a 15-race program during the 2003 BGN season. Exide Technologies is a global leader in stored electrical energy solutions. Bayer Healthcare is the primary sponsor of the #17 Reiser-owned Ford, while the Bayer Consumer Care products of Bayer Aspirin, Alka-Seltzer, Alka-Seltzer Plus and Aleve will alternate as primary sponsors throughout the 15 races. Exide Batteries will be featured on the #17 Bayer Ford in all 15 of the races Kenseth will compete in. Exide, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, has been the Official Battery of NASCAR since 1997 and has been a part of NASCAR since 1993.
