NASCAR changed the finishing order a day after the Busch Series race Monday at Rockingham. Ashton Lewis was ruled to have finished ahead of Scott Riggs, so the official results have Lewis being 16th and Riggs was given 17th. Lewis originally was held in the pits for a 15-second penalty for changing more than the allotted three sets of tires under caution during the race. After reviewing the film, NASCAR realized he did not exceed the limit and gave him the time back he lost entering and exiting the pits. With that time, he would have finished ahead of Riggs, so Lewis was awarded 16th instead of 17th.(Daytona Beach News Journal)(2-26-2003)
