Before his first Craftmsan Truck Series of the season, #07-Jody Lavender has already been given a vote of confidence. The Hartsville, SC, native, who will be competing in the Craftsman 200 at Darlington Raceway on Friday, signed a 10-race extension with Green Light racing owned by Bobby Dotter. Lavender’s deal originally was scheduled for four races beginning with the race at Darlington but it was extended on Monday and will run through Federated Auto Parts 200 in Nashville, Tenn. on Aug. 8 “It takes some pressure off because we know we have more than four races to perform,” Lavender said.
