#93-Teri McDonald has signed up for a shot at rookie of the year in NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck series, joining #31-Tina Gordon in challenging five men for the honor. It is the first time two women have been candidates for top rookie at the same time in any of NASCAR’s top professional series. Also in the running are #53-Randy Briggs, #99-Carl Edwards, #07-Jody Lavender, #27-Doug Keller and #86-T.J. Bell. Only three of them were in the field last month for the season-opening race in Daytona.
