When the law offices of Jenkins, Jenkins & Jenkins agreed to become an associate sponsor on the #86 Chevy driven by T.J. Bell in the Truck Series, it wasn’t to advertise for themselves. Instead, their desire was to assist a local school that was destroyed by a category F4 tornado last April. “Archbishop Neale is a great private school,” said Fred Jenkins, one of the law office’s partners, “This is where I attended school, my kids are now attending and I am on the school board. We need all the help we can get.” Rebuilding efforts began a month ago on the school, located in LaPlata, Md. While students are attending classes in temporary classrooms, they are searching for funds to help rebuild their cafeteria and gymnasium. T.J. Bell, driver of the #86 Speed Motorsports Management Group / Defiant Clothing Chevy, is equally enthusiastic about helping get the word out. “Anytime we get a chance to help out a distressing situation, it just makes us feel good,” he said. “This just shows you how big NASCAR really is and the impact it has on everyone. It’s fantastic how the school has pulled together during this rough time.
