#1-Ted Musgrave won the pole at Martinsville Speedway for the Advance Auto Parts 250 with a speed of 91.297mph, outside pole goes to #4-Bobby Hamilton. NASCAR team owner #33-Andy Petree will start 4th, Cup drivers #52-Ken Schrader will start 9th and #6-Kevin Harvick will start 13th. Former Cup driver and 3-time champ and Fox broadcaster, #17-Darrell Waltrip will start 12th. Missing the race was #31-Tina Gordon. #16-Travis Kvapil was third fastest and #46-Dennis Setzer, fifth. It’s Musgrave’s second pole of the season, second consecutive pole and seventh of his career. Petree will have to start from the rear of the field Saturday after his team changed engines in his #33 Chevrolet later Friday afternoon.(ThatsRacin.com)
