#9-Bill Elliott is being transported to a local hospital to be checked out, he is complaining of foot pain.(5-17-2003) UPDATE: XM Satellite- NASCAR Radio (Subscription Required) reported that Elliott has three broken bones on the top of his left foot, Elliott’s status for next weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 is unknown at this point.(5-18-2003) UPDATE 2: An official announcement about Elliott’s status for this weekend’s 600-mile race in Charlotte should come Tuesday.( Fox Sports Net’s Totally NASCAR )(5-20-2003) UPDATE 3: Elliott will be in the #9 Dodge and start the Coke 600 this weekend.
