Qualifying Rained out at Texas, Hamilton starts first:

Season points leader #4-Bobby Hamilton will start from the pole in the Truck Series race at Texas after qualifying was canceled Thursday because of rain. The lineup for Friday night’s O’Reilly 400K was determined by season points and other criteria. It’s the third time in seven races this season that qualifying has been rained out. #49-Shawna Robinson, who will be supported by NASCAR’s first all-female pit crew, will start her Chevrolet 32nd in the 36-truck field. It’s the first of three scheduled races for the team this year. #14-Rick Crawford also will start his Ford on the front row, and #16-Travis Kvapil and #1-Ted Musgrave will be on the second row. #62-Brendan Gaughan, whose only two series victories came in the two truck races on the 11/2-mile Texas track last year, starts fifth.(ThatsRacin.com/AP)
