Qualifying was rained out at Nashville Speedway, so the field was set on owners points [the first 35] then per the rules book. The top five starters are: #21-Johnny Sauter, #92-Todd Bodine, #10-Scott Riggs, #37-David Green and #1-David Stremme. 44 drivers were at the track, only #84-Brian Weber missed the race becuase he was a late entry.
