Burr Motorsports announced a partnership with Wendys for the upcoming Truck Series race in Memphis on June 21. Dennis Sumler, owner of three Wendys restaurants in West TN (Milan, Lexington and Savannah) is a big fan of racing and has been very involved at local tracks in the Sprint Car Series. Its time to branch out and take advantage of the exposure offered in NASCAR and Im excited about this venture, reported Mr. Sumler. At this time, Sponsorships are very difficult to obtain, were excited about the opportunity to partner with Wendys for the race at Memphis Motorsports Park and very appreciative to Mr. Sumler for his support, said Joanne Hughes, Marketing and PR with BMS. Conrad Burr, driver of the #87 Chevy, is looking forward to his third race of the season. His last race was at Dover where he started 30th and finished 15th.
