Brian Weber Racing, CEO Brian Weber has announced that he is looking for an investor that will take role in co-owner of his Busch Series team, as the team prepares to run the entire Busch Series schedule in 2004. “We have a lot of things working right now, and I need some help,” said Weber. “Our Platinum One Card sponsorship deal is really taking off and I need to turn my concentration over to the driver and sponsor obligations and leave a co-owner to help handle the owner tasks. We’re aiming for a top twenty finish every weekend next year, I believe that we’ll have the backing to do so with our sponsor, but I need a person that is dedicated and can afford to pour some money into this team as we grow in the secondary series of NASCAR. “I would like to drive for 2-3 seasons while developing into a more competitive team,” says Brian. Weber, who pilots the #84 Platinum One Card Chevy on a limited schedule in the Busch Series, plans to compete in a few more events later this season. “Right now, we’re in a stage of rebuilding, we’re getting things ready to roll, we do not want to struggle anymore, we want to put the hammer down every time we go out,” he added. While, Weber knows that this can be a challenge in finding some help, he believes that this may be one of the best opportunities to open up. “We’re not talking a lot of money, we’re just talking someone who is able to invest and grow with us and we plan to be one of the most competitive teams on the circuit.” He also mentioned “Maximizing exposure for our sponsor both on and off the racetrack.” The former Busch Series North racer mentioned “We have come a long way in a very short period of time, we have cars, we have engines, I have a crew, we are just missing that co-owner to help us with a boost.” Brian, who owns a successful business outside racing said that team, would like to hear from anyone interested as soon as possible.
