PPM Racing’s Anthony Lazzaro participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 14 and 15 in France. Lazzaro and teammates Ralf Kelleners and Terry Borcheller brought their Risi Competizione Ferrari to a finish of 9th in class and 27th overall in one of the most prestigious sports car races in the world. Said Lazzaro, “For me, Le Mans is tougher than (the) Daytona (road course), by far. It is a long track, tricky in places, with some extremely fast corners. I just hope I have the opportunity to come back.” Lazzaro is currently scheduled to attempt to qualify the PPM Racing #03 in the NASCAR Busch Series races at Atlanta on Oct 25, and Homestead-Miami on November 15.
