Wally’s World:

During TNT’s Live Coverage of NASCAR Winston Cup Michigan 400, Brad Arnold, lead singer for the Grammy-nominated rock band Three Doors Down, will climb into the passenger seat of TNT/NBC analyst Wally Dallenbach’s car for a few laps around Michigan International Speedway this weekend for TNT’s Wally’s World segment. The segment, highlighting the differences in NASCAR’s tracks around the country, will air during TNT’s live NASCAR Winston Cup Series coverage of the Michigan 400 on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 1:30pm/et. “It’s a dream come true to be able to get in a racecar, just to do a lap at near race speed. I’m really, really, really looking forward to it. I’ve told 20 people already,” said Arnold. Three Doors Down will be well-represented at Michigan International Speedway this weekend, with defending NASCAR Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart using a Three Doors Down paint scheme for the NASCAR Busch Series race on TNT on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 1:30pm/et. The band will also play a concert at the track on Saturday night following the Busch Series race. The first video from the band’s sophomore album Away From The Sun was “The Road I’m On”, which features Stewart and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. racing each other in sports utility vehicles.(NBC/TNT PR)(8-14-2003) AND check out the pictures of ‘the ride’ at MotorsportsTV.com .(8-17-2003)
