#2-Jimmy Spencer won the pole for Saturday’s New Hampshire 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway with a lap at 127.34mph, outside pole goes to #62-Brendan Gaughan at 127.210mph. It’s Spencer’s first series pole and Saturday’s race will be just his second in the series. Spencer, who drives Ultra’s Winston Cup entry, is filling in the #2 while the team searches for a replacement for former driver Jason Leffler, who left to pursue a Cup ride. #4-Bobby Hamilton qualified third, rookie #99-Carl Edwards fourth and Cup driver #52-Ken Schrader was fifth. #16-Travis Kvapil, who trails Gaughan by five points in the championship hunt, will line up 11th.(ThatsRacin.com)
