Spencer wins at New Hampshire:

#99-Carl Edwards and #2-Jimmy Spencer bumped and banged over the final 15 laps of Saturday’s New Hampshire 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway, before Spencer finally pulled away to a .661-second victory to claim his first Truck series victory. Spencer, who started from the pole, was making just his second series start, driving for his Winston Cup team owner, Jim Smith. On Lap 185 of 200, following the final caution of the race, Edwards pulled on the outside of Spencer exiting Turn 4, only to see Spencer close off the lane and Edwards scraped the wall. Edwards would try the same maneuver repeatedly to no avail. “I hated to get into Carl. I hated in the worse way,” Spencer said. “He had a good run at me. He got me right in the right-rear quarter panel and I got together with him.” #4-Bobby Hamilton finished third, #46-Dennis Setzer fourth and series points leader #62-Brendan Gaughan completed the top five. He leads #16-Travis Kvapil by nine points. The race was slowed by caution seven times for 29 laps. There were six lead changes among five drivers.(ThatsRacin.com)
