Craftsman Posts Bonus for Teams:

Earning the pole position and winning a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race requires a complete team effort. That’s why Series sponsor Craftsman has posted a “Win from the Pole” bonus. Any NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team that wins a race from the pole will be awarded a $10,000 bonus by Craftsman. With Winston Cup regular Jimmy Spencer’s dominant performance on Saturday at New Hampshire International Speedway, the #2 Team ASE/Carquest Racing team was awarded the $10,000 Craftsman “Win from the Pole” bonus. Spencer’s win marked the first time the Craftsman “Win from the Pole” bonus has been awarded in 2003. The #2 Team ASE/Carquest Racing team is the 21st NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team to be awarded the “Win from the Pole” bonus since the award’s inception four years ago. The bonus was awarded 10 times in 2000, six in 2001 and four in 2002. It has been 21 races since the last “Win from the Pole” bonus was won. The last team to be awarded the bonus was the #75 Spears Manufacturing Racing Team at Las Vegas in 2002.(Craftsman Motorsports PR)(9-16-2003)
