Mark Green will drive A.J. Foyt Racing’s #14 Harrah’s Dodge this weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and at Martinsville next weekend. Green replaces rookie Larry Foyt, who continues to suffer from a kidney bruise suffered in an accident at Talladega two weeks ago, according to a Foyt team spokesman. Doctors advised Foyt to sit out the next two weeks, meaning he’ll return to the car for Atlanta. Green has served the past couple seasons as a driver coach and consultant to Foyt. Mark Green’s regular job this season has been as a shock specialist and driver coach at Akins Motorsports, working with promising newcomer Kasey Kahne.
