Baldwin Resigns? UPDATE 4:

The resignation of Tommy Baldwin from Ultra Motorsports and Bill Elliott’s expected move to a part-time schedule next season fueled speculation Baldwin and Kasey Kahne [see below story] will team up at Evernham Motorsports next year.( Augusta Chronicle ) and see my #9 Team News and Links page for past news.(10-6-2002) UPDATE: been told Baldwin is still with Ultra Motorsports and workign for the shop, no idea if this meant at the end of the season. ALSO see a NASCAR.com/Buzz .(10-7-2003) UPDATE 2 – Done after Lowe’s race? hearing the Cup race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway will be the last for Baldwin at Ultra Motorsports, #7.(10-8-2003) UPDATE 3: hearing Baldwin will stay with the #7 team for the rest of the season.(10-15-2003) UPDATE 4: this weeks Winston Cup Scene reports that Baldwin has left the team and is expected to sign a multi-year contract with Evernham Motorsports. Gene Nead, crew chief of Ted Musgrave’s team with Ultraa Motorsports will server as Spencer’s crew chief for the final five races.[Doesn’t say who will crew chief Musgrave’s team, that is running for the Truck Series Championship].
