Pete Richards has joined SPEED Channel as a Coordinating Producer, working on projects including 2 Wheel Tuesday and SPEED’s coverage of AMA road racing, ARCA and USAC events. No stranger to SPEED, Richards was on hand for the launch of the network in February of 2002, producing studio shows during Daytona SpeedWeeks as well as some of SPEED’s early coverage of live races. A native of Gary, Ind., and a graduate of Indiana University, Richards also produced a pair of high-profile SPEED Channel specials — “Robby Gordon’s Double Duty” and “Backstage at the Dale Earnhardt Tribute Concert.”(Speed Channel PR)(10-23-2003)
