On Tuesday, October 21st, #99-Jeff Burton will test at Kentucky Speedway. On Wednesday, October 22nd, #19-Jeremy Mayfield and #9-Bill Elliott, #48-Jimmie Johnson and #0-Ward Burton will test.( Kentucky Speedway site ) also hearing that Kasey Kahne will test an Evernham Motorsports Dodge there Tuesday or Wednesday.(10-21-2003) UPDATE: Ward Burton and his new #0 Netzero Pontiac team continued their new beginning with a one-day test at Kentucky Speedway today. Burton joins Haas CNC Racing after ending a seven-season relationship with Bill Davis Racing just two days ago. Davis helped Burton earned two of his five career wins last season, including the Daytona 500 title. Todays test is Burtons second with Crew Chief Tony Furr. The veteran driver said the more the team works together, the more confidence it builds. Fellow circuit drivers #48-Jimmie Johnson, #19-Jeremy Mayfield and #9-Bill Elliott also tested at the track.
