FANS Motorsports and Speedway Media made the formal announcement today that race fans from around the world can log on to FANSMotorsports.com and have a shot to be a part of Jay Robinson Racing’s NASCAR Busch Series effort driven by female competitor Tammy Jo Kirk. “This contest is easy and fair,” states FANS Motorsports owner Mark Westrick. “All the fans have to do is log on to our website and click the contest section and fill out the information needed and we’ll draw a name before the Busch race at Homestead.” The winner will seen their name plastered on the decklid of the #49 Ford Taurus. The lucky fan will also seen their name on the team’s press release prior to the season finale and shortly after the event be sent a digital photo of their name on the car. “At FANS Motorsports, we’re trying to give the fans what they want, and by having this contest, we believe that we are taking a step in the right direction,” continued Mark. FANS Motorsports based in Pennsylvania have yet to announce their 2004 racing plans but are closing in on an announcement date. “We’re still talking to some teams, but things are progressing well, I think we’ll make a decision in the next two weeks,” continued Westrick.
