Busch Series car owner [#38] Brad Akins is considering a switch to Dodge for his team in 2004, which seems odd in light of the fact that his driver is Kasey Kahne. Kahne, you may remember, has a contract with Ford Motor Company that prevents him from driving other makes, or so Ford Racings Greg Specht declared in widely circulated comments a few weeks back. Specht, by the way, made himself unavailable for comment on Saturday, although he was present at the track.(Gaston Gazette)(10-26-2003)
