#2-Rusty Wallace has offered no solid hints on when he will retire, but he has his replacement in mind. Billy Parker, a Late Model star who will drive for Wallace’s new Busch team in 2004, apparently is being groomed to take over Wallace’s No.2 Dodge at Penske Racing South. Stephen Wallace, Rusty’s 16-year-old son, then would replace Parker in the Busch car. “I really like this kid,” Wallace said yesterday of Parker. “He’s good looking and going to be great for the sport. I’d love for two to three years down the road, or whenever I decide to get out of the car, that Billy would drive the No.2, and Stephen would get in the [Busch] car.”( Richmond Times Dispatch )(10-29-2003)
