Famous Bush’s Baked Beans spokesman Jay Bush, along with his dog Duke, announced that America’s favorite brand of baked beans will increase their support of the ST Motorsports #59 NASCAR Busch Series Car. Under the terms of the Agreement, Bush’s Baked Beans will move to the major associate sponsor spot on the car beginning with the 2004 race season. Jay Bush commented, “We are excited to continue our partnership with Kingsford Charcoal and ST Motorsports . Our first year in NASCAR was a great experience for us. In 2004, we will increase our involvement with the #59 race team, with our retailers, and with NASCAR’s brand loyal consumers.” Plans include storefront sampling and couponing of Bush’s Baked Beans and in-market appearances by Jay and Duke and by Stacy Compton. “Duke and I became buddies with Stacy Compton over the last year and I know I speak for Duke when I say we are very excited to be back with Stacy in 2004. I just hope that Duke doesn’t tell him the Secret Family Recipe,” added Bush. Stacy Compton is currently ranked 10th in the NASCAR Busch Series standings.
