hearing Kerry Earnhardt will be back in the #48 Innovative Motorsports Chevy ar Rockingham with Smith and Wesson as a sponsor? See an image of the car on my Busch Series Paint Schemes page.
HOWEVER: looking at the Entry List for Rocingham at ThatsRacin.com, Todd Bodine is listed in the #48, and been told that Smith and Wesson may be on the #33 car with Tony Raines at the Rock BUT may be the #48 sponsor in 2004…..confused? me too.
MORE: Hawk Sports Management is working with Kerry Earnhardt, Smith & Wesson and Action Performance on this special one race program at Rockingham. More details on this one race deal and any future plans will be announced shortly.(Hawk Sports Management)(11-4-2003)
UPDATE 2: Kerry Earnhardt is now listed in the #74 BACE Chevy at Rockingham with Smith and Wesson as the sponsor.(NASCAR.com).(11-5-2003)
UPDATE 3: Kerry Earnhardt who is known as an outdoorsman and handgun enthusiast will be driving the Smith & Wesson sponsored BACE Motorsports #74 Chevrolet at Rockingham in the Target House 200 on November 8, 2003. The car will be carrying Smith & Wesson logos along with promoting the S&W 500 Series, which is their newest and most powerful firearm. Kerry is looking forward to racing with BACE Motorsports and making his presence felt on the track in 2003 in order to prepare for the 2004 season. Im so excited that Smith & Wesson is going to be featured on this car. Their handguns are the best in the business and offer incomparable quality. The BACE Motorsports team and I are looking forward to making our mark this weekend both on and off the track with this car. The owner of BACE Motorsports, Bill Baumgardner, echoes the anticipation. For me it is an honor to help Kerry Earnhardt in this one race deal with Smith & Wesson. I recently returned from a trip where I used a Smith & Wesson handgun and know the superiority of their brand.(Hawk Sports Management PR)(11-5-2003)
