#36-DCT Motorsports, the new Busch team based in David Pearson’s shop near Spartanburg, SC is scheduled to make its fifth appearance of the season in Saturday’s Busch finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Alabama driver Steve Grissom and veteran crew chief Ricky Pearson, who lives in Spartanburg, are the competition principals for the team, which is owned by two Cleveland businessmen. In previous races this year, Grissom has finished 29th at Daytona Beach, Fla.; 26th at Bristol, Tenn.; 14th at Richmond and 28th at Charlotte. The team, searching for sponsorship, plans to run 20 to 24 races in 2004 and a full schedule in 2005.(Greenville News)(11-10-2003)
