haven’t seen a list but saw this: About 50 Busch drivers getting a first look yesterday at the radically new “progressive” banking at the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami track, and Busch speeds were considerably higher than Monday’s truck speeds. Fierce crosswinds in the corners hampered drivers, but the fastest managed laps at 175.3 mph in qualifying trim, 173.6 mph in race trim. Wally Dallenbach will drive in Saturday’s Busch race before Sunday’s Winston Cup booth-work for NBC: “You know when you say ‘It takes your breath away’? This takes your breath away.
