Tammy Jo Kirk and Jay Robinson Racing are trying to raise funds for their Busch efforts in 2004. They are looking for $500,000. They want to get 5000 fans to sponsor the team at $100.00 each. In return they get their name on the car and a chance to come to the races. If they do not raise enough money, refunds will be issued. The team will release a press release after the Holidays to discuss the benefits to the fans.
UPDATE: Catchfence has been informed it does not look like that Advil will be returning as the sponsor of the #49 Ford in 2004. The team is still waiting to get a final word from them, but they are beginning to look at other options for 2004 and has also learned that former ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Greg Van Alst is hunting for a sponsor to drive the second car (#39 Ford) in selected races in 2004.(Tammy Jo Kirk/Jay Robinson Racing PR via Catchfence)(12-18-2003)
