The three-day ARCA RE/MAX Series test session in preparation for the Feb. 7 Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 wrapped up on Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. A.J. Henriksen, driving the No. #17 Ford, posted the top speed of the day with a lap of 182.637 mph. Bobby Gerhart, a two-time winner of the Advance Discount Auto Parts 200, posted the second fastest speed of the day with a lap of 181.496. Rounding out the top five were Ed Kennedy (180.155), Johnny Leonard (179.426) and David Ragan (179.290). The majority of the ARCA RE/MAX Series teams left after Saturday’s second day of testing. The Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 on Saturday, Feb. 7 is the season opener to the ARCA RE/MAX Series and will precede the Budweiser Shootout, an non-points no-holds barred All-Star race featuring last year’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Bud Pole winners and past Budweiser Shootout champions.
