Speed Chooses first 4 drivers for Reality show:

  • NASCAR Busch Series drivers Casey Atwood, Kasey Kahne, Tim Fedewa and two-time series champion Randy LaJoie are the first drivers confirmed for the new SPEED Channel reality series NBS 24/7, set to debut with back-to-back half-hours on Feb. 16 at 8:00pm/et. SPEED Channel Sr. VP Programming/Production and Executive Producer Rick Miner is quick to point out that NBS 24/7 will be a true “reality” show. Three of the teams — Atwood in the #14 Navy Chevy, Fedewa in the #12 sponsored by SuperCuts and Hot Tamales and LaJoie, running a partial schedule in the #82 Jani-King Chevy — are all part of the growing FitzBradshaw organization owned by NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and North Carolina businessman Armando Fitz. The series will run for 40-plus weeks, chronicling the lives of multiple NASCAR Busch Series drivers and their teams. Designed to highlight the personalities of the participants, the program will focus on activities between events as well as each team’s success or failure on the race track. #38-Kasey Kahne and Akins Motorsports also are ready to go.(SPEED Channel PR), see full PR on my TV/Media News/Links page.(1-11-2004)
