Kasey Kahne’s immediate future is still the subject of speculation, with Ford officials mum about what they might do. Kahne had a contract with Ford but has jumped to [the #9] Dodge and Ray Evernham. “I try to stay out of that,” Evernham says. “Kasey has honored his commitments (to Ford). His attorneys have told me they’ve honored their commitments. And we’ve kind of put that behind us and we’re looking ahead now.
