The Liberty,SC-based Ortec Racing team entered in Saturday’s Hershey’s 300 Busch race is honoring the late US Army Capt. Kimberly Hampton of Easley by carrying her name on the rear of its car this week. Hampton, a helicopter pilot, was killed last month in Iraq. Gus Wasson of Bloomdale, Ohio, drives for the team, which plans a limited schedule this year.(Greenville News)(2-12-2004)
